Brodbeck Seeds Donation to Benefit Fairview High School FFA

Sherwood, OH (May 20, 2015) — Brodbeck Seeds and Edgerton farmer Les Culler recently presented the Fairview High School FFA chapter with a $500 donation. The chapter plans to use the donation to aid in costs associated with getting students to the state convention.
The donation originated from a Brodbeck Seeds raffle drawing held at the 2015 Fort Wayne Farm Show. The drawing has become an integral and recurring part of Brodbeck Seeds’ participation at the show.
“This chapter stays very active and they do very well in the things they do,” Culler said. “I was a member of the Fairview FFA when I was in high school, and it’s great to see my kids learn and grow through participating in it, as well.” Culler’s daughter, Emily, served as the chapter’s vice president for the 2014-2015 school year. The Fairview High School FFA consists of 67 students and only about half of them have farming backgrounds.
“Brodbeck Seeds knows it is important to support opportunities that promote agricultural education and leadership,” said Ron Harter, Brodbeck Seeds district sales manager. “The more we in the agricultural industry can get involved with these students, the more they can see what opportunities are available to them.”
