LaPorte, Ind. (March 26, 2012) — When David Zolvinski attended the 22nd annual Fort Wayne Farm Show, he didn’t expect his attendance to benefit agricultural education. That all changed when the co-owner of Zolvinski Farms entered a raffle drawing at the Brodbeck Seeds booth and was selected to direct a $250 donation to support agricultural education and leadership.

Zolvinski was one of six Fort Wayne Farm Show attendees to be selected to direct an agricultural education donation from Brodbeck Seeds. Zolvinski Farms will donate the winnings to the Michigan City FFA Chapter, which is led by FFA Advisor Frank Hoy.

Brodbeck Seeds District Sales Manager Larry Ashbaugh said that farmers serve as role models for youth who aspire to be farmers. “Through their involvement with FFA, farmers provide valuable insight and expertise on the business of farming. Brodbeck Seeds is committed to helping our customers support FFA and the next generation of ag leaders,” Ashbaugh added.

Members of the Michigan City FFA accept a check to benefit ag education and leadership. The check was presented in the name of Zolvinski Farms, who won a $250 donation from Brodbeck Seeds at the Fort Wayne Farm Show.
