Brodbeck Seeds Donation to Benefit North Miami High School FFA

Denver, Ind. (May 31, 2015) — Brodbeck Seeds recently presented the North Miami High School FFA chapter with a $500 donation. The chapter plans to use the donation to send student teams to state and national competitions.
“Our dairy team just returned from Europe and our soils team goes to Oklahoma this month. If we’re unable to send the entire team to a competition, no one can go, so donations like this are very important and appreciated by our chapter,” said Alyssa Kuhn, former chapter president.
The donation originated from a Brodbeck Seeds raffle drawing held at the 2015 Fort Wayne Farm Show. The drawing has become an integral and recurring part of Brodbeck Seeds’ participation at the show. Peru farmer John Newman was the drawing winner. He selected the North Miami FFA chapter to receive the donation.
“I am excited to hear about everything this chapter is doing. They are very active and will put the money to good use,” said Brodbeck Seeds District Sales Manager Troy Baer.
The North Miami High School FFA is led by faculty adviser Jim Wildermuth. The chapter has about 70 students.
